Ian Frazier Lewis was a wonderful young man who lost his life when he was caught in a rip current in April of 2019 while on spring break with friends. He was a senior at Wake Forest High School and looking forward to taking on the world upon graduation. He loved life and making people smile, and he truly lived life to the fullest. The game of soccer was one of his greatest passions, and he loved everything that came with being on a team. He thrived in the camaraderie and friendships that developed from working toward a common goal. When he died, many kind and generous people donated money that his family used to set up a scholarship in his honor.
The Ian Lewis Scholarship Raffle is open. The draw will be at Wake Forest High School on October 6, 2025. Come cheer on the WFHS Cougars at 6:15pm. Purchase ticket at the game or online now.Â
